Civil Rights and
Federal Law Enforcement:
A Forum for the Jewish Community
Monday, May 15, 7:00 pm, Temple B’nai Israel

In recent months there have been increased reports of threats
against Jewish and other minority groups. What is the current status
of Civil Rights in our nation today? We are honored to host a panel of
esteemed leaders from local offices of federal law enforcement to talk
about civil rights and the Jewish community. When Kathryn Peterson,
Special Agent in Charge at the FBI’s Oklahoma City Division and
Mark Yancey, Acting U.S. Attorney for the Western District of
Oklahoma, asked if our community would be interested in having
them visit to discuss these topics we readily thanked them
and scheduled the forum.

Please join us to welcome Kathryn Peterson and Mark Yancey,
along with Richard M. Davis, Special Agent, FBI Civil Rights Division,
and Julia E. Barry, Assistant U.S. Attorney Civil Rights Coordinator,
Western District of Oklahoma. The panel will be facilitated by
Roberta Clark, Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of
Greater Oklahoma City.

It is a privilege to welcome these leaders to our Temple
and we look forward to a meaningful evening of learning. There
will also be opportunity for questions after the formal presentations.
