A special Temple Theater Night has been planned at Carpenter Square Theatre during Passover. The evening will begin with a pre-performance reception (cash bar) at 7:00 pm at Carpenter Square. “The Whipping Man” will be especially relevant and thought provoking for us during Passover. The play examines a vital, but not often spoken of period in American history, the post-Civil War South, as former slaves and slavemasters struggled to acclimate to the new emancipated social order. The play is set in Richmond, Virginia in April, 1865. Following the play, a question-and-answer session has been arranged for Temple members
A block of 40 tickets has been reserved for Temple members at a reduced price of $15 each. Click HERE to RSVP. The deadline is April 9.
