How Successful Congregations Embrace Change
Sunday, October 29, 2017, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
For the first time ever, all URJ Communities are joining
forces to offer a single URJ day of learning in multiple locations across North America. The discussions center around the changing landscape of our world and its implication on Jewish life. This exciting opportunity is for all Temple members, Board members and committee chairpersons.
This workshop will take place simultaneously in multiple locations across four time zones. Our location will be hosted by Temple member Marcy Price.
This day of learning will also offer a special taste of the URJ Biennial by live streaming an interview with award-winning author and Biennial presenter Anita Diamant. Her new book, The Jewish Wedding Now, will serve as a springboard for conversation, using the lens of Jewish
life cycle ritual to consider congregational change in the 21st century.
Please contact Laurie Epstein or Marcy Price, Co-Chairs, Adult Education Committee.
Please RSVP HERE. (You may also order a lunch if you’d like)
